Try hard as you can, but there are some things in life that you cannot forget.

Smells. I will always associate Victoria's Secret body spray Endless Love with my 11th grade Biology class since that was the body spray I used while we were dissecting cats, pigs, hamsters and all those other animals.

Firsts. I will always remember the first major death in my life. My great-grandpa on August 5th, 1997.

Phrases. Lots of these... "minor detail" is associated with Kristina, "wOOt" with Justin, "oh grandma" with Mike..

Memories stick with us for a reason. They remind of us who we were, where we came from, and who we're becoming. They can be painful or funny. They can make you feel weak, or they can encourage you to be stronger... no matter how you choose to look at it, that memory has had an impact on how you turned into who you are today. You learn, and then you grow... you trip, and then you get back up...you may have been blinded, but you're sure as not going to miss it this time around.
