I hate the new Olive Garden commercials. Why they thought advertising that damn soup/salad/breadstick special was a good idea, I'll never know. People are already cheap enough, let's not encourage it. It frustrates me when people come in and say something along the lines of "Well, since my husband makes over five hundred-thousand dollars a year, I'm a stay-at-home wife (with no kids of course, because they'd ruin the white carpet in the sitting room of our million dollar home) who never misses her daytime soaps..and while I was watching the Young and Restless I just happened to see a commercial for this $5.95 Soup and Salad combo. I'd like that, and here.. here's $6, you can keep the change. Oh what? There's tax, well darling I'm sure if you go grab us another ten bowls of soup I can find 46 cents in the bottom of my Coach purse."
Granted...they never say anything like that...I think its because they're afraid I might gather up the other hard-working college students and go torch their front yard.
That was a lot of strong bitterness coming from one little girl...
